i joined their mailing list a few months ago (www.visioneersthemovie.com). they sent out a notice last week saying they haven’t settled on distribution and are still making the festival rounds. apparently, they are going to three more festivals this fall and won the audience award at Cinvegas where they premiered in July. i’m still holding out hope…
I think this confirms my suspicion: that this isn’t a real movie at all, just a very well-made sketch by Zach. It looks way too stupid to be a real movie.
I saw it at Cinevegas. It is real, it is funny, and it is good. It will be in the AFI Film Festival in LA in November. Then it will get picked up and be seen by the rest of the world!
