I have no idea why Jesse McCartney is covering T-Pain’s “Buy You A Drank”. I barely even know who he is. But it’s great:

“The first time I heard this song I was in the car or something, on my way out for the night. Well, I was in my mom’s car, on the way out for an evening soccer practice. Because of the big game coming up against the Northside Bumble Bees. I’m 12 years old.”

When he offers to take you back to his crib, he really wants to TAKE YOU BACK TO HIS CRIB. Right, guys?

  1. I like it when he says “Convict music, nappy Boy-oooo-eee.”

  2. That’s a terribly unfortunate haircut.

  3. does he get any points for writing bleeding love by leona lewis?

i really think that was my attempt to get points for myself for not hating this rendition.

when he says ‘we in the bed now’ he’s imagining them having a tickle fight, or talking in a tent made of sheets, clutching flashlights and squirt guns in sweaty hands. so cute.

also, how do those back up singers feel about themselves? good, because they have paid singing gigs, which is sweet, and also sad, because they are back up singers for jesse mccartney.
