Whoa, I don’t know if you knew this, but John Lennon was a big time hippie. But not just one of those dirty disc golf hippies that you see in the park being bad at devil sticks and picking kind buds out of their white guy dreadlocks with henna soaked fingers. Like, an honest to goodness hippie with a firm belief that peace was possible on Earth and that with a guiding philosophy you could make a difference. Weird.

That cartoon was made off of an audio interview that a guy named Jerry Levitan made in 1969 when he was 14 years old. As you know, there are no more wars, so hopefully Lennon is looking down from heaven holding a big dot matrix Print Shop banner that says “We Did It, You Guys.” I’m just kidding, I know they don’t still use dot matrix printers in heaven. It’s heaven, everything’s the best! Laser printers!
