Dear lord, have you seen this show, You Are What You Eat? It’s from England. Couples are shown the mountains of garbage they put in their bodies in a single week and berated for it by a proper English lady, and then she takes them into the bathroom, they all don masks, and she hands them boxes of their own poo. On the most recent show, one woman dares to rebel against this practice, and the others help her become less naturally averse to poo. This is one show we don’t have to worry about jumping the pond (do not watch if you’re hungover or otherwise gaggy):

Gross, England. You’re supposed to be proper.

  1. they don’t ever really show the poo! I like the show, if only to see a week’s worth of junk food spread out across a table.

The same woman also hosted another show called ’3 Fat Brides and 1 Thin Dress’, or something like that, in which 3 brides-to-be try to lose the most weight and at the end the host decides who’s worked the hardest and gets the dress. I remember one woman who regularly returned from the grocery store with a trunk full of meat, which the host made her get rid of, and then she and her fiance broke up before the end of the episode. This one also featured equal amounts of humiliation and lots of poo action. Sadly, that show did make it across the pond – well, to Canada at least.
