As Matthew McConaughey surfed peacefully in the Malibu waves yesterday, a ragtag gang of over a dozen fellow surfers attempted to use force and violence to take back the beach from the paparazzi camped out there to get photos of the flipflop-losing star. Things get hilarious at about the three-minute point:

Apparently today (do surfers still get up really early?) another group of surfers, this time led by a screeching bikini-clad young lady, tried to rough up photographers in the same way.

No word yet as to when this bitter feud will end, or if McConaughey himself will attempt to broker a surfer/paparazzi peace accord.
