Maybe Diddy should stick to blogging.
I’m spending a lot of time on developing something really tailor-made for where I want to go, which is more of a modern action, almost a more realistic, black Bruce Willis/”Bourne Identity”/Quentin Tarantino. I want to do something where people take a ride with me. Like, if you were going to hang out with me for 48 hours, you have no idea what would happen.
Should someone tell him that there’s no such thing as a modern action almost a more realistic black Bruce Willis Bourne Identity Quentin Tarantino? And not because no one has the balls to go there but because WHAT? Then again, I’ve never hung out with him for 48 hours. I heard about this one guy who hung out with him, and granted it was only for 36 hours, but he described it as a real time but like concurrent black Tom Wilkinson Hudson Hawk Steven Soderbergh.

will smith in ‘enemy of the state’ was kinda like a black ‘bourne identity’ meets an ebony bruce willis in ‘live free or die hard’ meets a nuyorican bill murray in ‘the man who knew too little.’ maybe he wants to be will smith in ‘enemy of the state.’
i don’t know how to fit quentin tarantino in the mix. maybe because black guys and him both share a love for asian girls?
I have no way to comprehend how people buy into this guy to make him so rich and allow him to ride coattails and think up things already done, like having a black man helm an action film. Jeezus, what will he think up next? I’m guessing the re-remix.
i heard him on Fresh Air recently (yuppie nullus) and two things stuck in my memory:
-talking about how he rehearsed for raisin in the sun by re-arranging the furniture in his living room. because “it’s about the same size” as the stage, after which he immediately said something like, “because, you know, those stages are pretty small”.
-i forget how it came up, but he also admitted to having insomnia, after which he suddenly realized there’s an internet now, and he was like, Terri Gross, I have to say, it was just cured. just cured recently. i absolutely have no more insomnia at all. she giggled and congratulated him.
