Someone has taken Steven Spielberg’s 40s-serial-inspired nostalgia-adventure film Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark and reconstituted it into its source material. The opening is great, and it ends with a traditional matinee cliff-hanger.

I know the olden days were tough, what with the riding subways made of horses to work, and how the only medicine was different sized braces made out of metal and leather, but how did they withstand the crushing weight of anticipation for the next week’s installment? Or did they also download entire series using an old wire and twine bit torrent and watch them all in one sickly evening of instant gratification, sweating into their wool sheets and drinking wine straight from the bottle flagon?
