I don’t know what your high school was like, but at mine, the people who worked on the school newspaper (Trojan Talk, y’all) didn’t:

• Party


• Drink


• Play football


• Know anyone who partied, drank, or played football

And neither did I. But they probably did cry, like the stars of MTV’s new reality show The Paper, which premieres April 14 and for which there’s a new preview clip up today. I’m already partial to the Tracy Flick-esque Amanda, who thinks she should be Editor in Chief because her name starts with an “A.” If the show is about, as teased, “The Vietnam of newspapers,” Amanda is its Robert McNamara.
