We’re going to need a new name for whatever it is that Funny or Die does. At first it seemed like they were going to be a farming house for funny new viral videos, but that’s barely even the case anymore. This hardly counts as a viral video. Don’t get me wrong, it is going viral, but that’s like when clips from last night’s Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien go viral. Even if it’s on every website, it’s still a clip from a TV show. It’s rooted in that medium. I’m not sure why that distinction feels important, but somehow it does. The Internet needs to protect its neck. This video stars Alexis Bledel, Billy Crudup, Zach Galifiankais, Tony Hale, Vinnie Jones, Joey Kern, Chuck Liddell, Julianne Moore, Henry Rollins, Alan Tudyk, Olivia Wilde, and Sgt. Slaughter? And it’s just some goofy throwaway song about G.I. Joe? Somehow that hardly seems fair. The dudes from Smosh are like “hey, no fair!”

“Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!”

  2. I’m going to view the Pokemon video 10 times to make up for it.

  3. Where’s Serpentor?

  4. when I was 9 or 10 I really loved GI Joe. That was 17 years ago. I don’t remember anything about GI Joes now. I guess my point is that this isn’t funny to somebody who knows nothing about GI Joes. Is it funny to somebody who does?

  5. This video has Alexis Bledel in it, and she is pretty and I am shallow. I already got my ticket for Post-Grad (whatever that is) from Fandango.

  6. Music can be funny. This isn’t. Play them off…

  7. This wasn’t funny at all. This was so unfunny it prompted me to post my first internet comment ever to share my thoughts about how unfunny I personally thought this was.
How is Julianne Moore in this? What do these filmmakers have on Julianne Moore?
Pictures of her having sex with animals? Why is Julianne Moore having sex with animals?

Weird Al is spinning in his grave right now.

  8. I hope the guys who made the GI Joe film see this and realize their casting flaws. Henry Rollins as Duke and Zach Galifiankais as Snow Job are so utterly perfect that it’s surreal.

  9. This didn’t make me laugh but it’s true that it has stars.

Three Dog Night did reunite once. I saw them at Mud Island in 1990. They were touring with Steppenwolf. The more you know!

  10. It’s no Tennessee Birdwalk, that’s for damn sure.

By the way, Gabe, Sgt. Slaughter was introduced as a Joe in the animated motion picture.

And this shit blows the movie away.

  12. You are amazing. Don’t ever change.

  13. the clarinet was never that fun when i played it in school.

  14. I love this site, but why are we so determined to keep feeding the (very obvious) trolls?

  15. The guys singing this song are like some poor man’s Flight of the Conchords. Except, if it was actually Jemaine and Brett, I’d be laughing.

This is certainly star-studded, but it’s not funny.

GREAT directors are sensitve insturments…they know exactly how to use music…Quentin is “great” in that sense…not alot of “great” happening…what’s D. Chase been up to?

  18. At first I was primed to laugh, so I thought the tears coming down were tears of laughter. Then I realized they were just the regular kind.

  19. Whoa, you guys are rough!

I think it’s pretty funny, actually.

  20. Why does Jay Leno get to play the triangle? IS THIS PART OF HIS NEW SHOW?!

  21. is it just me or is the cast of this video far superior to the cast of the major motion picture that came out this past weekend…actually it’s not just me since it’s FACT
