  1. Question, should I see Gravity in IMAX 3D or just regular IMAX? I’ve never seen a 3D film and I hear mixed opinions. What do YOU think?

    • 3D gives me a headache, and I don’t think it really adds anything in the time before the headache sets in. No 3D for me! I expect you’re going to get more mixed opinions on here.

    • David Edelstein of CBS Sunday Morning told all the Olds to see it in 3D, so I think you should see it in 3D. It’s fun!

    • I think the real question is, mushrooms or pot?

    • I get very motion sick by CGI so 3D just makes all of that worse. If you have that problem, or if you are an Old like me (not the guy from CBS), I’d say regular. I had to walk out on Star Trek so I didn’t throw up. And the whole 19 minutes that I did see looked like it was filmed on a Viewfinder.

    • saw Gravity last night. i swore i’d never see another 3D film after the hobbit, but gave it one more chance after Clooney and Cuaron’s insistence. boy am i glad i did! it’s the first and only time i’ve seen 3D be not only effective, but essential in telling a story.

  2. The trailer for Gravity stressed me out sooooo much but I am totally seeing it after work today. Even though I have to go to the far away crowded theater!

  3. I’ve never participated in movie club before, and I think I’m going to get to double participate this time! This is the last weekend before Femu and I get married, so we’re going to take it easy and see a movie. After tonight, no matter how much certain family members stress us out, we can just say to ourselves “at least we don’t have to worry about dying in space”.
