  1. I’m quite lukewarm on David O’Russell (some good things, some uh, really, this is what I’m watching?) but I’m pretty sure I will enjoy this film on visual hilarity if nothing else: Christian Bale’s paunch and comb over! Bradley Cooper’s perm! Did his mother oversee the perm? Amy Adams physically impossible cleavage!

  2. The fact that his name is David O. Russell instead of David O’Russell makes me hear it in my head as David “OHH!” …Russell.

This has been another look inside the mind of saturnian. Stay tuned for my thoughts on whether or not Les Moonves is the name of a real person or Bond villian.

  3. The internet has been strongly hinting that I need to watch Orange Is The New Black for awhile now. I guess I’ll have to add it to Lady Rainicorn’s Ever-Growing List of Distractions.

  4. I’m getting so close to the Breaking Bad finish line and have only had a couple of things spoiled so far. It’s going to be such a relief when I finally catch up and can surf the net with impunity again!

  5. Laverne Cox is a goddess. She is very intelligent and very pretty and very talented. I am really happy she is getting attention.

  6. Flanny, Cassie, I don’t know where else to post this, but we need to talk:

  7. I really want to see The Act of Killing, but I also really don’t want to be depressed. I am not quite sure how to achieve both ends here.

    • My thoughts exactly, and I don’t know what to do about it either.

    • I saw it last week and it’s not really depressing. It is harrowing and intense, but it’s an incredible movie that everyone should see. It even has some quite funny moments and the director told us beforehand that it’s okay to laugh at those parts, so I think you’ll be ok.
