Why do people like Ron Swanson? He’s just a human version of Garfield the cat. Dude is okay in bits and pieces but whenever he gets a big storyline it is zzzzz-time.
Hahahah You can’t downvote me, anymore! your power over my pop culture quips is gone!!
I downvoted you not because I don’t agree but just because YES I CAN, CHRIS TRASH.
“Why did you downvote Chris Trash?”
“Because I CAN.”

Rip it in half! Then also rip the footnotes in half and staple them to each other. Also, wear a heavy trench coat, even in the summer. Mutter a lot. Never pick your feet up, shuffle only. Refuse all eye contact, but stare intently when someone is aware of your glance, but not confronting.
Judging by how the last ebook with footnotes handled footnotes I wouldn’t want to try reading it on a kindle anyway. I’m kind of reading it (kind of as in it’s beside my bed with a bookmark 400 pages in but I’m reading something else) and I’m considering like cutting it into chunks so I don’t have to hold the thing/juggle bookmarks trying to read different sections of the book all at once.
If you think Kathryn`s story is flabbergasting…, last week my uncle basically also recieved a check for $8163 putting in twelve hour’s a week from their apartment and they’re roomate’s mother`s neighbour done this for 3 months and easily made over $8163 part-time at there labtop. follow the steps on this site……. http://zapit.nu/37L

Something about the book references in the episode?
that wasn’t meant as a reply. and is that gif a reference to Up, Simba? Please?
Very meta indeed, and it puzzled me. I liked the references to IJ, but really didn’t see the point. Was it that people like me would respond excitedly to them? And that seems the kind of hip tongue-in-cheekness dfw wasn’t a big fan of. So yeah. How much of a tribute is that?
DFW loved Wittgenstein’s Mistress reference style. I can’t imagine him having a problem when an intelligent, sincere tv show decides to put some embedded references.
true. but what is the pay-off other than some people “getting it”? You get it, I get it, and aren’t we great for getting it. But then what?*
*ss a question that does not at all invalidate Parks and Rec, or your comment, in any way! but it did creep into my thoughts on these references
