• Tilda Swinton began her year-long public art performance at the Museum of Modern Art this past Saturday, spending the entire day in a glass box. She’s going to do it about a half-dozen more times between now and the end of the year “each unannounced and in a different location in the Museum,” so I guess just go every day! 1. Ack, Katy Perry at the KCAs! Please don’t tell me that two piece, midrif bearing dresses are coming back in style! It was bad news when I went shopping for homecoming dresses back in 1999 and it’s still a bad idea. (However, I still demand we bring back bandanas. And also bowling-style shoes.)

  2. I have a leg up on the Swinton thing, as I am already following her.

    • Man, stalkers get to be way more honest in this world now. Today, you get to tell people who you are following, and they immediatly think you are talking about Twitter.

  3. The thing about the Tilda Swinton thing is… does she just hold it all day? Or is peeing in her water jug part of the art?

  4. When was the last time Nickelodeon actually had a show that involved sliming people? 1994? Should they update the Kids Choice Awards to do something more topical for this generation of kids, like bully the shit out of the winners?

  5. The first Videogum coverage on Rhode Island since the Newport Skipper!
