  1. Because I don’t even want to get into the whole Seth McFarlane “satire” thing, I’m going to say that those two links about props were really cool! That’s one of my favorite things about TV shows, looking at the little knicky-knacks in the background and how inanimate objects can take on meaning as a show goes on.

    • My favorite tourist thing to do in Los Angeles is to take the WB Tour, specifically because I am just FASCINATED by the warehouses filled with objects, how they are classified (as each movie and show they have been used in are listed so people don’t recognize that lamp from something else?) and the collection is just ginormous. I used to want to be an interior designer for TV shows, but mostly because I worked the night shift in the news and I would daydream about literally everything else as most of my day was consumed with Ambien and lack of sleep. The nights? Car chases and death.

  2. The best thing about Spring Breakers is the AV Club headline, “Harmony Korine’s avant-garde experiment in not repelling moviegoers pays off.”

  3. (Trying really hard to not go for the easy joke wondering why Marnie’s ex boyfriend was chosen as a prop)
