Last week we confirmed that Eminem is awful now. This week, he continues to provide evidence that we were correct. From a press release:

Grammy Award winner Eminem joins FAMILY GUY’s Stewie Griffin to host ANIMATION DOMINATION Sunday, May 17 on FOX. The evening will feature interstitials voiced by and featuring an animated version of the hip-hop superstar.

Boo. Crack a bottle…OVER YOUR HEAD, Eminem. Dummy. You are literally going after some Lauren Conrad sloppy seconds. Not even, because she actually managed to get animated into an episode. Eminem is just providing interstitial animated sequences as bumpers before the commercials. You should clean out the closet….OF YOUR HEAD. It is filled with bad ideas. (Will the real Zing Shady please ugh, nevermind).

But as dumb and as lame as this is, it’s not as ridiculous as these canned PR quotes from Eminem and Stewie:

“It was a thrill to work with Stewie,” said Eminem about the youngest member of the Griffin clan. “I’m a big fan of talking babies and their humor.”

On working with Eminem, Stewie said “I was just about to meet him, but after I shook hands with his stylist, his assistant, his lawyer, his bodyguard, his other bodyguard, his photographer, his manager, his hanger-on, his flower girl, his driver, his videographer, his notary, his historian, his her-storian, his texter and his own greased-up deaf guy, I got the swine flu.”

Actually, on working with Eminem, Stewie said NOTHING, because he is a CARTOON CHARACTER. Stupid. Then again, if I were Seth MacFarlane, I wouldn’t want to take credit for that terrible joke about how celebrities have comically big entourages, capped off with a classic swineflu reference (because that didn’t stop being funny three fucking weeks ago) either. AND WHAT IS THE HUMOR OF TALKING BABIES THAT EMINEM IS SUCH A FAN OF? Whoever ghostwrote that should get some kind of ghostwriting award for being the smartest and also most convincing.

The whole stunt, of course, is to help promote Eminem’s new album The Relapse, which comes out the Tuesday after this really funny Sunday night of great cartoons and hilarious jokes. Fair enough. The Eminem audience and the Family Guy audience are the same audience. What a terrible audience.

  1. It should be called The Prolapse.

  2. You know what’d be hilarious?

    Pee-pee pants.

  3. Eminem fucking LOVED Dinosaurs.

  4. Well of course he’s going to be a part of Family Guy. It’s right in with his humor, the dude was in crank yankers and that wasn’t too far off. What I don’t get is that picture…did the guys at Marvel really put him into a comic? But…why?

I thought Eminem started being awful the second or third time he released the same stupid, silly jokey single.

  6. I’m done defending him. this is unforgivable. pathetic.

  7. Eminem has watched Look Who’s Talking like ninety times.

  8. I don’t think the insult “Dummy” will ever get old. Still stings as bad as it did back in third grade.

Garth Ennis is rolling over in his grave.

  12. If you read it the right way, Eminem comes off like a comedic genius. Total deadpan.
