And features paintings the actor/student/inaugural poet created based on the movies he has recently been in? There is a painting of spring break and a painting of THE WIZARD OF OZ? Come on, James Franco. Come on, man.

  1. I’m thinking about basing all my paintings on blogs posts I have commented on. If it’s in Germany, I’m going to call it “Bloggerdammerung (Twilight of the Blogs).”

  2. And Fake Town.

  3. Thanks for the “Oz the Great and Powerful” spoiler James Franco’s “art” exhibit.

  4. The man is crying out for help, because the more he does the more it becomes blatantly obvious he has little to nothing to say and it’s driving him crazy. That or he’s dangerously close to reaching the backs of his teeth, how far up his own ass this guy is.

  5. I would like to hear what Artdork has to say about all this, since she is now my go-to art dork. Also, I want to know what’s covered up in the piece that seems to be captioned “Balls.”

  6. Everyone took the ‘gay’ in ‘Gay Town’ as its older ‘Happy, joyful, lively, festive, bright, or colorful’ definition, right? That is the imagery he’s presenting. But he’s playing with our preconceptions and our social cues, because that’s not the primary definition of gay anymore!

  7. The working title of the show was probably something like, “Guess Who’s Been Hanging Out With Harmony Korine?”
