THE FIRST MOVIE TRAILERS ROUND UP OF 2013! Look, life is what you make of it. And research shows that if you feign excitement over something like a movie trailers round up blog post, you will start to actually FEEL genuine excitement for a movie trailers round up blog post. The jury is still out on that one. We will see. But so AWWW YEAH, heck yeah! YEAH! Movie trailers? I love those! Round ups? No kidding! Let’s gooooooooo:

The Place Beyond the Pines

I’m sure I’m going to get a lot of hate mail for this (that is one of my favorite things that people seem to say a lot these days. Who is getting all this hate mail? No one is getting any hate mail. Relax) but I’m starting to get Gosling Fatigue. Oh, he is still a real dreamboat for all of us, but just the incessant Goslingification of the Internet and the celebrity industrial complex. That being said, this movie looks REAL GREAT. A bank robbery movie with a face-tattooed Ryan Gosling from the director of Blue Valentine? Yes please

Trance

I cannot express how much I hate the movie Slumdog Millionaire, not that that’s ever kept me from trying. But one of the reasons I hated it so much was because it aestheticized and thereby anesthethized abject poverty for primarily comfortable, white audiences. So Danny Boyle DOES have a flashy eye. I’m totally to have him put that eye back to art theft heist movies. OK.

Mobius

What? I’m on board, but what? Hi, Buddy!

The Last Exorcism Part II

Next trailer, please.

Girls Against Boys

Every man in the world is a rapist, and every woman is a vengeful sociopath, so what’s even the point? We know already! We’re living this stuff every day!

Officially Limited

Documentaries are great, art is neat, pop is life, but I didn’t understand a single thing anyone in this trailer said. Not even you, Jensen Karp. It’s about silkscreened basement comedy show posters? Nah.

  1. Things I have learned today: I apparently loose all dignity when confronted with an unexpected James McAvoy, as I just spent the last 2 minutes and 16 seconds screaming in glee.

  2. I want to know more about this demon, “Blahblahblah”

  3. Do you think I can learn French in time to enjoy Mobius? Who can teach me? Can we do this right here in the comments section?
