Nice try, Fergie. It’s cute how she acts like she’s a queen deigning to pay a visit on her subjects when the reality is she will literally throw herself under a bus if she thinks there’s a camera under there. And of course I mean that it’s “cute” in the way everything Fergie does is “cute,” which is to say kind of haggard, and slathered in makeup, and smelling faintly of menthol and plastic. This girl knows.
But I don’t even understand why this video is being made. We already know what birth into the digital afterlife looks like:

I love it when Fergie says “We really decided to take it to the next level with this album”. I mean I was expecting them to just coast along and maybe cut and paste together a bunch of their voice mail messages over some lame Casio beats, but apparently that’s just not the case.
I thought i hated Lady Googoo more than any other “musicy” act around. But I forgot that these people existed. Honestly, why do these people exist? Who could actually listen to this “musics” over the age of 6? They make me cry harder than Miickey Rourke the day Loki passed.

You know how Sen Dog has absolutely no purpose in Cypress Hill? Black Eyed Peas has two Sen Dogs. Those guys can’t even form complete thoughts and they don’t ‘do routines” like Fergie ‘does routines”. Definitely taking it to the next level!
I am not too proud to admit that this is one of the only digital songs I have ever paid for. My favorite lyrics? “I’m so 2008, you’re so 2000 and late” (odd considering that this single is being released this year) and “beats so big I’m stepping on leprechauns”.

For people who didn’t have a large…large…Black Eyed Peas fad when they were younger…the best part of the video for me was the part where even MTV News doesn’t know the names of the other members of BEP. Taboo is the other black one and Apldeap is the creepy ghost-man.
