Everyone agrees that parents lead thankless nightmares of lives, and should be allowed to have some fun sometimes. But these parents enjoyed their little chalk-bunny Easter prank WAY too much. Poor kid:

It’s one thing to pull a prank on your kid, but it’s another to blame the kid for falling for it. This family is so Roald Dahl.

Show the kids some love with these Valentine’s Day celebrations
The usual focus of Valentine’s Day is romantic love. But it can be just as special a holiday for parents and kids to express their love for one another. I lost my wonderful mother-in-law, Gene Granberry, in January, but I’ll never lose the ...

Their joy over pranking him is a bit disturbing. I love how the dad is just giggling like a little school boy. Good one dude! You made your kid eat chalk. You are the master of all prankers.

    p.s. Take out your garbages.

  2. Well I won’t be winning Parent of the Year this year. Maybe next year.

  3. Didn’t seem that over the top to me. Kid took it pretty well, too.

  4. The best part is how they just ignore their other kids who seem to be filled with Easter joy and Jesus wonderment just to make the one kid eat chalk. I think though, that the “dad” might just be an older brother.

  5. I think Chet somehow had a hand in this one.

  6. I love how unamused his sister looks, like she’s also thinking “this isn’t funny”

I’m in favor of parental hi-jinks and all, but that weren’t funny.

  9. “This family is so Roald Dahl.” –loves it.

  10. You know, they might not have pranked him? Like, maybe they just gave him a piece of sidewalk chalk [something I never got ever:'(] and they didn’t quite realize that he was about to bite into that particular thing? The mom almost sounds surprised herself when she says, “Oh it’s chalk.”

  11. This video makes me sad. These parents seem like people who never wanted children and now they have like 5 (judging by their overflowing trash) and they get stoned all day and laugh at things that aren’t funny (because really, dad, that is a classic stoner laugh) and make cool internet videos of fail pranks.

seem like they weren’t necessarily expecting him to think it was candy, and just spur of the moment, decided to see if they could trick him. so, not necessarily a premeditated prank.

    Still funny though.

  13. call the authorities…

  14. It was really big of him to walk all the way over to the garbage corner (all kitchens have Garbage Corners) and spit it out, instead of doing what would be my first impulse as a 10-year-old and just spit it in their faces because HOW MEAN.

    • No, that prank is actually funny. This one is all like “I tricked you into eating chalk now go roll your parents a blunt so we can mastermind more things for you to eat while we collect trash.”

their place looks like a dump. they should be cleaning it instead pranking

  16. poor kid, second that
He’s like “how the hell did I come from these losers?”
