Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have officially signed on to reprise their roles as Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence in Disney’s upcoming Boy Meets World reboot, Girl Meets World. God really does grant Disney reboot-based wishes!

  1. Any word on whether or not Rider Strong managed to clear his schedule?

  2. I wonder if Feeney will also be her teacher from sixth grade through college.

  3. [heavy sigh] We’ve already met.” — World

  4. I don’t get the title.

  5. I was just having a debate with some coworkers about which of the Savage brothers had the better career. I said Fred, but now it seems that Ben’s career could just now be taking off!

    • Ben easily. Fred’s done some directing but Boy Meets World gets rerun on all types of channels all the time. The Wonder Years ha 2 less seasons than BMW and there are some music issues prompting it from being replayed in some places. WY might have more prestige but BMW is like a member of our TV family.

      • But Fred was also in The Princess Bride AND was a producer/director on Party Down.

        • Listen, I love Party Down, some of my best friends are party downs but I don’t really think that’s a success outside a small niche group. But you have a point on Princess Bride. Although, he plays a small role, that movie is a multi-generational classic. I now have to rethink my stance. Lets revisit this argument every couple of months.

          • And let’s not forget he has directed a bunch of shows, such as 9 episodes of the aforementioned Party Down, as well as 19 episodes of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Other directing credits (imdb): Happy Endings, Modern Family, all of Best Friends Forever (too bad about this show, love me some Parham & St. Clair), 2 Broke Girls, etc.

Fred really sticks it with his role in the in Princess Bride.
Ben does not with his role in Clifford.

  6. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

  7. Poor Danielle hasn’t done anything since her Soup for Ladiez show was canceled. RIP The Dish.

No? No one else ever watched that show and/or has no idea what I’m talking about? J/K then!
