  1. Can we please stop having links from DListed? They’re never particularly interesting, and if I accidentally read any of the words written there, I can feel part of my brain dying.

    • Michael K is a genius. I didn’t downvote this though, because I would NEVER downvote facetaco except for when he posts that ice cream head eater.

  2. New Girl was good! I was annoyed that they made us sit through Ben and Kate in between the two episodes, though. That show was not good. Enough with the manchildren. They’re not that funny.

But I did like The Mindy Project! I was kind of skeptical going in, but I thought it was funny and will continue to watch.

  3. Did anyone else stop watching The Mindy Project in the middle to make a sandwich like I did? It wasn’t “bad,” but it definitely wasn’t “good.”

  4. The New Girl has totally grown on me and I really enjoyed it last night, but JFC I cannot stand to see Zooey wearing those stupid glasses with no lenses in them. Take off the fake glasses and ride bikes with brakes, please, hipsters.

Oh I will be going to this so hard. I can only dream that Cynthia Robrock will be involved. And Tilda Swinton. And Hellen Mirren. And Angelina Jolie, and Saoirse Ronan, and maybe Kiera Knightley, although I didn’t think she was especially convincing as Domino Harvey but that might have had more to do with the movie as a whole than her performance.*

*Also Sigourney Weaver, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Pam Motherfucking Grier, Uma Thurman maybe? Is she actually fighty or is that only Tarentino’s influence? Who else? That french lady from Haute Tension? Lucy Lawless?

  6. You know what I liked about the Mindy Project? So far, all of the characters are intelligent. They chose to set it in a hospital (or doctor’s office? I couldn’t quite figure that part out) and made all the characters sort of sincere feeling. The antagonistic doctor was great. And he made a reference to her weight after she made fun of his failed marriage! Those are mean things to do and you never really see that on TV! I enjoyed it.

  7. How could I miss my show with that hunk Jake Johnson. So yummy yummy yummy.

  8. Whats a Bob’s Burgers?

  9. The Mindy Project had a terrific intro sequence, but it sort of became so-so after that. While the New Girl episodes were enjoyable, I thought Ben and Kate was the clear winner of the lineup.
