As you all know, the main goal of the stunt prank troupe, Videogum Everywhere, is to leave everyone alone and not bother anybody. We bring smiles to people’s faces by simply allowing them to go about their day unviolated, without having to see some NYU sophomore in dirty boxer shorts not wearing pants, or hear a young actress dressed as a Geek Squad employee unexpectedly break into song about how bad the free coffee is at the auto-body shop waiting room. Whatever the case may be, when it comes to a Videogum Everywhere “mission,” you are safe in the knowledge that you will neither see nor hear our “agents” because they are probably at home minding their own business, as should we all. Today we have a CLASSIC new prank that is going to require ALL HANDS ON DECK: this one is called “Buy Gabe Liedman’s Stand Up Comedy Album, Hiyeeee!, Day.” Here’s what is required of you, agents, if you choose to accept this important assignment: you have to buy Gabe Liedman’s new stand up comedy album, Hiyeeee!, from iTunes. That’s it! You don’t have to show up at any specific location at any particular time. There will be no mass texts or synchronized raising of the headphones. You don’t have to wear a tuxedo, and you don’t not have to wear a shirt. Wear whatever you want, whenever you want. (If what you happen to want to wear is a tuxedo, or no shirt, that is simply a coincidence.) We can think of no better way to show the world that there is beauty and art and fun and joy all around us than to privately enjoy Gabe Liedman’s wonderful collection of jokes. Put on your favorite headphones and close the curtains, and if you are going to laugh, please respect your neighbors. Mission Accomplished!

Is there any way I can buy it without selling my soul to Apple?
HI, I’D like to welcome you TO THE AMERICAN (growingly GLOBAL) capitalistic SYSTEM WHERE you’re soul WAS SOLD the second you WERE BORN AND WHEN YOU willingly go ALONG WITH THE it, you are only PERPETUATING A CYCLE of destruction, VIOLENCE, AND consumption, and IF YOU GO against it YOU ARE ONLY legitimizing those SYSTEMS BY placing yourself in A PRE-EXISTING STATE of (EXPECTED) exception that STANDS IN OPPOSITION to them.
EITHER way you ARE FUCKED, and there’s nothing YOU CAN do.
Just buy THE DAMN comedy album AND LAUGH.
You will be assimilated.
Just buy it, download it, burn it to a CD, and then rip it to a set of MP3s, tag the MP3s, and then sync it to your non-Apple portable music player!
Amazon has it. That’s a good alternative to supporting a big corporation, right?

I’d really like to purchase some individual tracks but $0.99 for a 25 second clip of Gabe Liedman saying “Hiyeeee!!” seems unreasonable.
