Holy moly, I cannot believe it is just now Wednesday afternoon and we are just now getting to the animal video countdown. WHAT A WEEK! It feels like months ago that I was sent the adorable otter video that, spoiler, you’re going to be watching soon, only a few hours late to have made it into last week’s cut. But no, it was not months ago. It was only a week ago. And time has slowed down to its slowest point because I think maybe someone accidentally set their Click remote to “Slow,” and if you own a Click remote and don’t think that it was you, I’d like to ask you now to check your Click remote just to make sure because my goodness. And while you’re at it, can we get a little FF here? I know the point of the movie is that you’re just supposed to use the FF, but just, let’s watch these videos and then maybe you can hit the FF just for like a second? That would be great. Thank you! Here are some videos! They’re great!
10. Cat Crossing A Bridge
9. Dachshund Puppy Vs Crab
8. Hedgehog Eating A Carrot
7. Cat Playing Guitar During An Earthquake
6. This Cat Is Gonna Be On YouTube
5. Sleeping Piglets
4. Four White Tiger Cubs
3. Turtle Eating A Raspberry
2. Mama Bear Lifting A Garage Door
1. Adorable Sea Otter Pup
Congratulations, otter! I’m sorry we all had to wait so long for you to receive the place in the animal countdown that you deserve! Congratulations to you too, mama bear! You’re scary and proud! Turtle eating a raspberry is just the dumbest and cutest thing and also kind of represents how slowly this week has been going by, like we talked about before. The tiger cubs and piglets are just adorable. Hooray videos! Hooray us! Hooray FF button on the Click remote!

I love dachshunds but did anyone else feel bad for the ghost crab? poor crab, I hope you made it to your crab home without having a heart attack.
Yes! But he did a good job side-stepping the dog!
I was so thankful when the crab finally escaped into the ocean!
Is anyone else glad that the crab didn’t pinch him?
I was glad the crab didn’t pinch him but was also happy when the crab escaped, even though the dog looked sad. I also couldn’t stop giving the crab the “Heeeyyyy, Heyyyyyy” crab voice from Finding Nemo.
I wish i could escape into the ocean
the dog seemed kind of forlorn at the end, staring into the ocean, hoping the crab would come back
Turtle was enjoying the shit out of that raspberry.
Spoiler alert: the turtle eats about 4% of the raspberry.
Spoiler alert: The turtle ruins the white carpet.
Director’s cut: turtle eats 72% of the raspberry. Running time: 3 hours 17 minutes.
This comment is going to be on videogum!!!
Everyone should watch that little otter in her movie. The Monterey Bay Aquarium plays a huge part in sea otter rehabilitation and they filmed the story of this pup, abandoned at birth and their attempts to make sure she could be raised properly in captivity and still thrive in the wild again. I may have cried about ten thousand times watching it, who can say?
OTTERS ARE THE BEST. If I were a mermaid, I’d totally have an otter as a pet. And if I were a mermaid, I’d probably daydream about having a small yellow lab-beagle as a pet. Either way… pups!
The tiny wiggling piglet ears! OTTER! This felt like a particularly wonderful week for animal videos.
That otter feels the same way I do about the 2012 elections.
That cat did get on youtube but can that same someone please have a look at that kitty? It is meowing and possibly hungry and very little and possibly abandoned or lost!!! Please let’s everyone try to be actual, real, living, good people first and internet identities waaaaay last after that! Is anyone else worried about that lil kitten??? I was ALSO very worried about that poor crab! Whew that was an emotionally exhausting Petting Zoo!
Seriously, that kitten video was not cute at all, people don’t go around taking videos of hungry human orphans hiding behind trashcans just to get on the internet
Definitely agree, though I definitely put the majority of the blame on the parent/adult in the background seemingly ignoring the cat’s state and not the kid. Pretty sure he isn’t comprehending the kitten’s situation, I think he’s just really blown away by how cute he thinks this cat is. I hope this kitty got the help (it looks like) it needed!
Though I might just be saying this because of the pure vitriol I saw directed at the commentator when i looked at the Youtube comments (always a mistake, I know, I know)
at the end, you can hear the adult in the background saying something about how there’s still a scared-looking kitty “back there.” I think they were doing something about it.
How did those bears manage to buy a house with a two car garage in this economy? Bears are making more money than me.
Can I just say that Carrot-Eating Hedgehog has the best face? It’s like he’s a early 60′s Vegas comedian who just said something racy about Ava Gardner.
Based on this video, I’ve concluded that hedgehogs chew with their eyes.
These animal videos were terrific. I always enjoy seeing a videos being taken of something and then an earthquake happens. For instance, “Yeah, I was recording my cat playing the guitar, like you do, then all of a sudden the big one hit!”
I’m that mama bear this week. The garage door I’m lifting is making the house Packy chose to rent not so life threateningly filthy. I think I’ve gotten the garage door up.
That poor kitten appears to have something wrong with one of its eyes, which is not cute at all. Now I just feel sad and helpless. Poop.
