This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this phenomenon. What’s the deal, kids? Are the ice cream cones too big? Are you lactose intolerant? Are you worried that being a tiny child eating a big ice cream cone isn’t adorable enough by itself and you had to kick it up SO MANY notches? I’m certainly not telling you to stop, I’d just like to know what the deal is. (Thanks for the tip, Lawblog!)

  1. You know what they say, Kelly: I dream, you dream, we all dream while eating ice cream.

  2. Clearly you’re not lactose intolerant, Kelly, or you’d know that the kid with the dog in the earlier post was giving a more accurate demonstration.

  3. I think the real phenomenon here is that kids have the ability to eat ice cream even while sleeping.

    • “I just don’t get it. These parents post a 3 minute video of their passed out son deep-throating an ice cream cone, and everyone laughs at how “cute” and “funny” it is. Meanwhile, I draw one teeny tiny dick on my 3 year old’s face when he passed out and now I’m a bad father?!

  4. give that kid a truffle cone of gold-flaked caviar and we have or answer to how Gwenyth’s kids are so well behaved on airplanes.

  5. My first reaction to this situation would not be to video tape it because I do not like cleaning up sticky melted ice cream from my car upholstery #notreadytobea21stcenturyparent

  6. I changed my mind. “Thanks for the tip, Lawblog!” is now the greatest compliment I have ever received.

  7. swirls the color of heron puttin kids in a nod

  8. What did the dumb kid expect when he ordered turkey flavored ice cream?

  9. The only thing I got out of that video is that I really want an ice cream come right now.

Maybe I should wait until right before bed though.

  10. They want it so bad they will even sleep through it. Never underestimate the dedication of a child. I’m still childlike as I wake up with food all around me in the mornings and I have no recollection!
