• I know I missed the image of Zooey Deschanel without makeup on on Friday, something I’ll NEVER forgive myself for, but at least I’m here for the day when it was announced that she’s the new Pantene spokesperson. Thank god! -ONTD
  • The season finale of Community, which will air mid-May, is going to be 90 MINUTES LONG! That is so long! Movie-length, basically! Maybe we all saved Community a little too much! -TheFutonCritic
  • Here is an article about the tap-dancing scene from Buffalo ’66, one of my all-time favorite movies, just slightly behind my real all-time favorite movie: You Can Count On Me. You can watch them both on Netflix Instant! Oh, but also read this!-AVClub
  • Did you all see the video explaining/unveiling Obama’s new slogan? If not, do you want to guess what the slogan is before you watch the video? It’s one word and it rhymes with choreward, if that helps. -ShortForm
  • Speaking of the upcoming presidential race, here are Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis on Meet the Press discussing what it’s like playing Obama and Romney. -Mediaite
  • Oooooh, another thing I’m happy to be ALIVE for, in general: A new Courtney Stodden song! Called “Reality”! Hooray! -Dlisted

  1. Blowhard?

  2. So “Titanic II: Full Throttle” would actually be an appropriate title?

  3. Holy cripes, there’s no way I’m watching a 90 minute episode of Community! Can you imagine? Goodbye, show I used to find hilarious and now still watch but don’t enjoy that much and will definitely be skipping the finale of. It was nice knowing you. Maybe if you get another season we can exchange polite nods as we pass each other in the hallway from time to time.

    • Hmmm. I may downvote what you say, but I’ll defend to the death you’re right to say it. Actually I won’t downvote it, that’s just silly. And I won’t defend it to the death. That seems extreme.

I’ll tell you what, I’ll go on a pop-culture blog and leave a comment that politely states that while I understand how some people might find Community a bit “much”, I am a huge admirer on the show, and it made me feel just a TINY bit sad for half a second.

  4. Did anyone see the “W.E.” movie? I did and I feel like I need to talk about it. For example, I thought it was amazing but everyone online seems to hate it because Madonna directed it. Thoughts?
