If you missed the Golden Globes, we’ll have more highlights today, but the best (only?) scripted moment had to be Tina Fey’s Best Actress speech, in which she told a bunch of internet commenters to suck it:
As everyone who immediately Googled those names quickly learned, “Dianefan,” “BabsonLacrosse,” and “Cougarletter” are real commenters on the LA Times’ award season blog, The Envelope. Personally, I can’t accept the idea that Tina Fey has the time to sit around reading mean comments about herself: it seems a thousand times more likely that she actually researched her speech before writing it. Because if anyone would do that, it would be Tina Fey. (Unsurprisingly, Dianefan.com and cougarletter.com have already been snapped up. By a nerd.)

Who would say anything bad about Tina Fey?
RULED
That is so completely awesome. I wish she would have had more time to address everyone on Digg.
Hello? Tracy Morgan’s speech????
They said there would be more highlights today. and you know the promise.
I was watching this with friends last night, and I saw Sacha Baron Cohen make a joke that led to disapproving reactions from the audience, but I didn’t hear the joke. Help?
He said that Madonna fired one of her personal assistants: “Guy Ritchie.”
i definitely hope you’ll have something to say about Sally Hawkins winning Best Actress over Frances McDormand.
Ricky Gervais stole a scene but gave it back…. also theres a great trainwreck presenters with Cameron Diaz and Murk Wuhlburg… show those
Don’t forget Rainn Wilson and
whatsernameBlake Lively absolutely spewing chunks of awkward all over everyone.i’m glad somebody watched the Golden Globes and can tell me what happened, because i tried and wanted to kill myself every time someone made a speech. though what i caught of Ricky Gervais was pretty funny. Holocaust jokes!
Tina looked even hotter than usual….
I didn’t catch Tracy Morgan’s speech, but I’m sure it was truly A Blafair to Rememblack.
All hail Tracy Morgan, the face of post-racial America!
I’m the guy who snatched up those URLs, and I am definitely a nerd.
