The New York Times has put up a video gallery of “cinematic villainy, inspired by nefarious icons and featuring the best performers from the year in film.” And IT’S GREAT! And nice to look at! And short! (And it features Ryan Gosling!) (And Brad Pitt!) (And Gary Oldman!) (And Glenn Close!) Go look at it!

  1. How you gonna make a 2011 “Touch Of Evil” gallery without including Jerry Sandusky?

  2. The Viola Davis one is the creepiest. Fricking lady bugs- they appear out of nowhere and are literally everywhere some seasons. They were scary enough on their own…

  3. I think it would have been great if the George Clooney one had never zoomed in. If it had just been a really distant shot of some guy dressed like George Washington, and it had just been labeled George Clooney. Some of us define “evil” differently from others, I guess.
