First I’d like to announce the winners of last week’s Nick Kroll giveaway:

Mike Kane!

Jenn Misko!

Benjamin Cohen!

Yay! Congratulations, guys! I hope all of your friends see that you own this DVD and they think you are “very cool” and they buy you lots of “vokka” and then also, “do you date me?” Yaaaaayyyy, very good!

This week you have the chance to win the first season of The League! The League is a fantastic show and I feel like not enough of you watch it. All of the people in it are great! Paul Sheer! Nick Kroll! Mark Duplass! Katie Aselton! AND MORE! The third season just premiered on FX last night, so if you haven’t watched it up until now I can’t think of a better way to catch up than by winning this DVD and watching it all in one sitting. GREAT!

In order to win:

  1. “Like” us on Facebook.
  2. Login to Videogum with your Facebook account.
  3. Comment with your favorite comedy thing that one of the cast members of The League has done. Puffy Chair counts as a comedy thing if you want to say that, FYI, not that you have to I’m just saying that that would totally count.

Comments must be submitted here by logging in with your Facebook account by Thursday, October 13th, 6PM EST. You can still play along if you just want to comment with your Videogum commenter account, but you can’t win! Only with your Facebook. I’m sorry. Also, only submit once! And then a winner will be chosen at random. YAY!

Comments (31)
  1. The Puffy Chair. Did I win?

  2. Does it have to be a regular cast member? Because Rob Huebel has been on the show before, and the funniest thing he’s done is Follow Friday.

  3. Andre grows breasts from eating too much soy and accidentally ends up nursing Ruxin’s son

ALSO the fact he named his fantasy team the Double-EntAndres

  4. There was an episode of Comedy Bang Bang where Paul Scheer pretended to be a man (named Clay Aiken) who could see Mary Lou Henner’s past while impersonating the editor of Spa Magazine.

  5. Show Me your Genitals makes me laugh every time, but I also like Humpday. I am not proud.

  6. Probably the Bobby Bottleservice videos.

  7. I do not have that much comedy knowledge :shame: but I liked Mark Duplass’ movie Cyrus.

  8. The Ed Hardy Boys

  9. Nick Kroll’s impression of a McDonalds employee explaining what kind of fish is in a filet-o-fish. (spoiler alert: square fish).

  10. Crazy Ira and the Douche

  11. How did I not win?

  12. Human Giant. Paul Scheer’s Human Giant sketches were fantastic.

  13. Eskimo brothers. What a good running joke. It’s really great when you can travel the world based solely on your network of eskimo brothers.

  14. Man, I know I’m not the only one who’s said it, but How Did This Get Made? has become my favorite podcast. I love you Paul Scheer! And their review of “All About Steve” nails Sandra Bullock’s character perfectly: “Temple Grandin has it more together than this woman.”

  15. I enjoy Taco’s (Jon Lajoie) Pedophile beard and rapist glasses.

  16. either Jon Lajoie’s “Everyday Normal Guy” (
) or Nick Kroll’s comedy special “Thank You Very Cool”

  17. I would like to say “puffy chair” because I have never seen the show so I don’t know any funny thing that has happened yet and that is why I desperately need to win this.

If/when I win I can comment with something more hilarious/relevant.

  18. E=MC Vagina taught me about algebra, relativity, and gender relations, and while it isn’t necessarily my favorite, it’s definitely the most educational. Always love me some Taco/Jon Lajoie.

Also, I named my Fantasy Football team Mr. McGibblets, and I’m about to be 4-1. Just thought all The League fans should know.

  19. “Hump Day,” easily. Plus, when my brother told me he was falling in love with his new girlfriend, I told him “Hump Day” was a great date movie. His fault for trusting me.

  20. Jon Lajoie’s 2 Girl 1 Cup song. THE best.

  21. Um obviously everything Nick Kroll does on Comedy Death Ray/Bang Bang. Fabrice Fabrice is half Grover. Is that canon?
