There was also an interesting mix of people at the Super 8 premiere
Hi Hurley, Hi Sawyer,Hi Coco. What are you doing there Jenna Elfman, Pete Wentz, and Michael Bay?

  2. I don’t know, Kelly. An essay about acting sounds like it would have taken way to much work for me to enjoy it.

  3. Damon Lindelof is totally someone who should be talking about bad acting. Considering all the quality “acting” that was done on Lost.

    • Evangeline Lilly is our generation’s January Jones

    • Really? I mean, arguably the show suffered from a complex and not entirely solid plotline, and they had to stretch it to a whole sixth season which was unnecessary, but I was never disappointed in the quality of acting on Lost. Even Evangeline Lilly! Who, in my opinion, suffered more from the writers not knowing what to do with her character (and thus just making her go back and forth between two dudes (TWSS)) than in her own acting abilities.

Matthew Fox was probably worst on the show just because he’s very eyebrow intensive with his acting, but also those “We have to go back” memes were hilarious just because they’re hilarious, not because he did a bad job with them.

Bottom line, January Jones could not out-act even the fucking statue on Lost or anything else for that matter.

  4. I don’t know what is more egregious: Lindelof disparaging January Jones’ portrayal of Emma Frost or the utter lack of recognition for Reginald VelJohnson’s inspired performance as Cyclops.

  5. I wish instead of recycling actors on HBO shows all the time they would just, you know, keep a few of the good shows around for longer. Carnivale & Deadwood I’m looking at you.

  6. Man, the takedown of Tron Guy was brutal.

  7. I would just like to say that I love this new feature, because I am one of those obnoxious West Coast people, so when the entire Internet is getting off of work at 5 PM in New York, I am stranded with three more hours of mind-numbing boredom. This list helps keep me entertained back here in the Matrix for those last few hours, while you are all out in the real world, trying to stop the robot drills from coming down into Zion (this metaphor totally worked).
