Empire magazine has reuinted the Three Amigos for some reason. So, there’s that!
My little buttercup has the sweetest…
*nervous* Smile! Smile!
I always know I can count on you, Frank Lloyd Buttercup.
I do not have the urge to make a sandwich at all. I will take my one piece of Steve Martin bread and leave.
I have no idea what this is referring to, but I still love this quote.
I know that jokes get funnier when they are explained, so: when I found out that Paul Rudd and Jon Hamm were once roommates, my immediate response was, “Why do I have the sudden urge to make a sandwich?”
I guess I’m saying that if anything is going to come between those two old friends, it should be me.
And I realized that, like, the MOMENT I hit “submit comment.”
Me: “Duh, because there’s three of them, so they make a sandwich, and Steve Martin is the bread, and…” Sigh. My mother always told me I was too dumb to understand sandwich jokes. I never realized just how right she was.
I still love the basic concept of Steve Martin bread, however.
I know, right? I would buy a loaf every day.
Don’t worry about not getting the joke, THIMP. Any way you slice it, you’re still a hero in my book.
“Three Amigos? Try Three Bozos. What a joke of a movie.”–Mr. Coconuts
The real question is when will they reunite THESE three amigos?
(Backs slowly out of room…)
I know Kurt Cobain is dead, okay.
Wait. WHAT! When?
Um, I just got super disappointed that they weren’t wearing the outfits. I mean, what’s even the point if you’re not gonna make them wear the outfits?
it’s an homage to how all three of them forgot how to be funny.
For the purposes of that comment, everyone, quick! forget that “Community” exists. thanks.
In a way, all of us has a Steve Winwood to face. For some, shyness might be their Steve Winwood. For others, a lack of education might be their Steve Winwood. For us, Steve Winwood is a big, dangerous man-wolf who wants to tell us about spider abortions. But as sure as my name is Frank Lloyd Wrong, the people of Videogum can conquer their own personal Steve Winwood, who also happens to be *the actual* Steve Winwood!
Really? Steve Winwood is the actual guy who recorded “Gimme Some Loving”? And “Back in the High Life”? I did not know that.
What are we even doing in Empire magazine? Not getting relevant again, that’s for sure!
I wonder if they all had a good laugh with director John Landis about that time he killed Vic Morrow and those two young children.
I have no idea what Empire Magazine is, but I’m not sure why anyone would want to reunite three wide receivers from the Mid-80s Denver Broncos.
