  1. woohooooo first.
OMG puppies, of the shiba inu variety no less! a friday miracle indeed.

  2. Why isn’t there a Birdie cam? Also, PUPPIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. I couldn’t love these puppies more if I’d given birth to them myself…

Literally. If I gave birth to Shiba Inu puppies I’d be freaked the fuck out.

  4. I guess I’m not getting any work done the rest of the day.

  5. Um Gabe I don’t know how to tell you this but Birdie is not a guy, she’s a girl. In fact I am fairly concerned that you did not know the gender of your own roommate.

  6. Someone have one of these puppies try a Fruit Gusher stat!

  7. Now let’s bring back the TV Guide Sweater Puppy cam

  8. Instead of “This Picture”, “This Cam”:

  9. Shiba Inu? I thought we were finished with all them Mexican words…

  10. THEY ARE WHIMPERING AND MAKING SAD LITTLE PUPPY SOUNDS I WANT ONE I WANT ONE I WANT ONE I WANT…Go to bed, Bluestockings.

  11. The best part of Puppy Cam (besides EVERYTHING!) is that this is only the beginning. We get weeks of them getting bigger and awesomer and cuter and playfuler.

    Happy day, indeed.

  12. I love this live puppy cam. I don’t even like dogs, but I like this live puppy cam.

  13. Ok, I might be going crazy, but I saw that cam on Friday and I just looked at it again and the dog bed is changed (no big deal – get a new dog bed every few days – these dogs are celebrity dogs!) and, more importantly, there are 2 light colored pups. On Friday, I am pretty certain that all the pups were dark colored and there 4 or 5. There were 3 by Mom’s front paws, and 2 or maybe 1 by her back feet. I never saw any light colored pups at all. I suppose it doesn’t matter. I was buying into the whole story of Mom and her pups, but maybe it is Mom and her pups and Mom-Across the Hall’s pups.

  14. I love those puppies, I truly do. I risk my job just getting lost in their squeaky, furry adventures. So they can keep churning out litters, fine. But can someone figure out a way to do this for some SPCA dogs or something so my mind doesn’t always wander to all the unwanted mutts and ruin this for me?
