The new season of Iconoclasts premieres on the Sundance Channel tonight. I’ve never actually seen the show and all of my knowledge of it is based on the SNL sketch when Charles Barkley sat down with Bjork. But is this really what the show is like? This can’t be what the show is actually like?
Wait, let me rephrase my previous question because this can totally be what the show is like. But is that really what Archbishop Desmond Tutu is like? That can’t be what Archbishop Desmond Tutu is like?

I did semester at sea in 2007 and got to spend three months on a ship with the Archbishop and this doesn’t really surprise me at all. The guy is really energetic and actually hilarious if you sit down and have a conversation with him.
this show is all bromance. the ed vedder/laird hamilton one was an hour long bear hug coupled with pseudo life philosophy.
i thought this show was promising, but as soon as i saw that ashley judd and madeline albright were being paired together, i said “enough”.
