After John McCain canceled his Letterman appearance at the last minute yesterday due to “the economy,” Dave spent nine minutes of the show ripping into the Senator. It seems a little petulant and brash, KIND OF LIKE TRYING TO POSTPONE A PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE FOR NO GOOD REASON.

  1. Apparently McCain is suggesting that they postpone the debate, and then REPLACE the VP debate the following week. Weak. Somebody wants their lady candidate to shut her pretty little mouth…

I think it’s perfectly acceptable for David Letterman to be contemptuous of Mr McCain for trying postponing the presidential debates for no good reason and for cancelling his appearance.

Mr. McCain…ummm…I think it would be good to talk to Americans, especially in this time of Financial Crisis (which by the way Mr. McCain- is nothing new), about what is and will continue to affect them in the future. You know, give us insights into how you plan to avert these problems currently and in the future, if you just so happen to be elected presdient….but that’s just me.

Really though, I think you are being silly. I don’t know what I your all worked up about because- CLEARLY-”The economy is fundamentally sound.” just like you said

    $700 billion- WTF!!
