I guess her fumbling open statement during a televised debate last night would be a lot funnier if she hadn’t personally crafted one of the most backwards and racist laws in recent history, but it is still pretty funny.

  2. Yes, Jan Brewer, I’m sure you’ve done everything you could possibly do since you became governor. So that means you’re done being governor, right? Good-bye!

  3. Even if you hate her and what she stands for, it’s heartstoppingly awful to watch the big gap where she can’t think of what to say. Every millisecond seems like an hour. We’ve all been there, racists and non-racists, governors and non-governors alike. It’s a universal cringer. P.S. I think she might be drunk? She slurs out the words “I have… did” not once but twice! What up with that?

  4. To be fair, most debates don’t have opening comments, so we shouldn’t be too tough on her. Wait, oh, sorry, everything I just wrote was completely wrong.

  5. Brain farts! Ha, Governors… THEY’RE JUST LIKE US!

  6. Guys, sometimes bing really depresses me.

  7. The difference between Jan Brewer and Basil Marceaux Dot Com is that Basil hasn’t already been elected to the highest elected office of his state at least once, helped draft nationally discussed legislation and become an admired and respected political figure for millions of Americans.

But for the record, this part is worse:

  8. That’s my governor. :-(

On the bright side, in just a few weeks I get to go into a voting booth and click on big purple thumb next to Jan Brewer’s post in the BNPG: Election Movies thread. (What?) Ben Quayle’s, too.

    Yikes. Where do I live?
