We went to St. Louis every to every other year (Grandparents need visiting too!) and every time we went to a Steak ‘n Shake AT LEAST twice. My mother loves the place and lamented the fact there was not a Steak n’ Shake in Oklahoma. When we found one (easily! It was like she could SENSE them! (or because she lived in St. Lou for four years)) she would always get the same thing: One Steakburger, plain and a large plate of French fries. She would always be the first one done, picking at the rest of our fries. For me, finishing a large chocolate shake was a rite of passage…it would be a while before I could finish a burger, fries AND a shake however.
Now I live an acceptable driving distance from a Steak ‘n Shake and make the trip once a month. I will be sure to toast to Ebert on my next visit.
Its about time someone did this. I have always been confused by rice cookers. They remind me of an infomercial product that you really don’t need or isn’t that useful (unless you run an Asian food restaurant). I have even pictured a commercial with someone struggling with a pot of boiling water attempting to cook rice, hair a mess and frustrated look on their face followed by a big red X on the screen.
After watching Death Sentence, a terrible movie starring Kevin Bacon as a father in search of vigilante justice directed by Saw's James Wan, Gabe embarked on The Hunt For The Worst Movie of All Time. This is his sad journey.
I think we’re going to need a bigger rice cooker!
[insert offensive Asian joke here]
I’ll bite: General Tso’s chicken is going to need a bigger woof. (Get it?)

This is like when Kramer was writing a cookbook in which every recipe will be made in a shower.
Figures he’d like rice since he is basically a vegetable at this point
As a lady with not much more to cook with than a rice cooker, I feel like this was made for me.
