Modern-day ‘Harold and Maude’ remake is a failure
I’ve been coming to Videogum for close to a year now and this is by far the best day I’ve ever had here.
Its Friday, and we just got paid.
Not to be a stick in the mud, but who gets paid on fridays anymore?

I honestly still do. Is that weird?
Here’s a weird answer to that question. I’m pretty sure professional football players do. I’m not exactly sure if it is Friday or not, but I know a guy who is a punter and he literally goes to payroll and picks up his check every week. “Hi, my name is Peyton Manning. I believe you have a giant novelty check back there for one bigillion dollars with my name on it. Thanks.”

Yeah why do i get the feeling these videos come from the same rave that was thrown across the street from an old-persons home? And when the poor old people wander off confused and lost, instead of heading to the bus stop on the corner as usual to wait for an imaginary bus to “take them home” they were instead attracted to the sounds of music, played at a loud enough volume that they could hear it for once.
Or perhaps they are just totally awesome old people. But still, this made me sad. Just let her be awesome without making treating her like some sort of novelty. young people these days. harumph.
For reals, I think she wandered away from the nursing home.

Today is the opposite of Mel Gibson Hell Week of Utter Despair.
One thing: Is Gabe’s old-times disease (this is what I though alzheimer’s was called) starting, or is mine (I’m not as old as Gabe, but I complain about loud noises, skimpy clothing, refuse to turn up the heat in death-winter or get a fan in the summer, and find myself picking up glass and trash in my neighborhood, worried about kids and dogs)? Because I know I’ve seen this before, and can’t think where else is awesome enough to post it.

Senility is no laughing matter guys it affects millions of people across the world every year.
I just showed this to my mother (who takes care of my increasingly senile grandmother) and she agrees with me that this woman is not only pretty darn with it in this moment but obviously enjoying herself. Two thumbs up from the gumlover family!
