In the latest issue of GQ magazine for men, Todd Levin beautifully and/or hilariously describes what it was like writing for The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien when everything fell apart. (For any kids reading this: The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien was a TV show one time. It died.)

  1. First! RIP conan

  2. “….sketches like “Potato Judge” (in which an actual potato with googly eyes and a castrato voice sentenced a child to death)…” How did I miss this?

  3. No! The old ways are best.

  4. Jay Leno’s tonight show is the most boring thing ever. This is the title card for the new Tonight Show with Jay Leno. I’m no font expert, but that looks a lot like times new roman, a font used for term papers. What’s more boring than term papers? Jay Leno.

  5. That was a great article. Got me missing the show pretty fierce.

  6. That same issue of GQ includes a group interview with Tracy Morgan, Zach Galifianakis and Paul Rudd. It is TBS Very Funny.
