I am sorry to begin the day, and the week, with such INTENSE and SHOCKING news, but Amanda Bynes (Arli$$, Rugrats) has “retired” from “acting.” Whuuuuuut?! But she was so good at acting! Probably! In whatever it was that she was in! Also, I didn’t know that you could retire at the age of 24 from a thing that many people don’t even know you do! Anyway, she did it, and she did it as one does, over Twitter (via Dlisted):

I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen anything that Amanda Bynes has been in, because no perverto, but now I probably never will, since I’m sure her entire back catalog is now “Long Wait” on Netflix. You know, out of respect. Amanda Bynes: living legend. All this time I’ve only been acting in the movies and tv shows that I personally write. Guess that means I can’t be #retired until I’m 85 or #dead.
