The CC Insider has dug up this post-roast afterparty interview Chris Hardwick did with the Genius Norm MacDonald, in which he refuses to break character, calling parts of the roast “fightin’ words” and claiming to have been offended by “some cussing.” If you’re still one of those people who thinks Norm’s roast was some sort of cop out or bomb, here’s your evidence to the contrary:

He thought it was a toast! (I’m actually surprised he didn’t say anything about toast-toast. Like toasted bread.)
