Aww, MSNBC put together this celebration of local reporters from around the country getting “creative” with their reporting. RadarOnline takes them to task for the word “creative,” so I’ll second that and also take issue with the word “reporting.” Actually, whatever, I could even watch more of these:

Is there some kind of local Peabody award for making an ass out of yourself, because that second guy did that literally. Also, no tasers? Are tasers really that out of style even with local news of the weird?

  1. Reporting isn’t easy. Plus if you want to get a better paying job, you need to have a resume tape that shows some effort and perhaps ‘creativity’. And yes, there are local awards for journalism…but not sure about the categories.
