A child is in jail. From the AP:

THREE RIVERS, Mich. – Police in Michigan have arrested a man who they say tried to steal posters and other items related to the new Batman movie from a cinema lobby while dressed up as the Joker.

Detective Mike Mohney said Monday 20-year-old Spencer Taylor of Three Rivers has been booked for investigation of larceny and malicious destruction of property.

Taylor is scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 5 in St. Joseph County District Court.

Mohney says officers who were dispatched early Sunday to the theater arrived to find employees restraining a man wearing a purple suit, a green wig and face paint in the style of Batman’s nemesis in “The Dark Knight.”

Yoops. Don’t you hate when you commit a ridiculous crime and forget that you’re 20 years old. You think, “Oh, I’m emotionally a baby who’s only begun the process of self actualization. I can’t even legally drink yet. This will be fine.” But then everyone’s like “Um, you’re 20, go to jail.” One thing about turning 18 is that it becomes legal to embarrass you with a photo and the use of your full name on blogs. It’s in the Constitution. IMDB it. The 17-year-old Joker impersonator who carved out all the puppy eyes in his neighborhood is anonymously taking anger management classes like it’s a joke, and here you are, embarrassed like a motherfucker, not even a Dark Knight poster to your name, nothing in your pocket but mom’s car keys and lint. Your only true crime is a complete lack of self-awareness. I hereby sentence you to the community service of growing up.
