In a season of particularly grim news, with everything seemingly spinning out of control, it’s nice to know that Brian Williams is keeping a sense of humor. This report last night about a British court “confirming our worst fears” about Pringles potato chips pieces of fried dough seems like it’s going to go off in an Onion direction, but, no, despite his winking tone, Williams really is using one of his 22 minutes to tell the American people that Pringles are not what we thought they were:

And then it was back to fires, foods, war, famine, and gas prices. But for a second, we had Pringlegate to distract us. Thank you, Brian Williams.

    Every night, Brian Williams makes Lara Logan make just a little bit more right.

    I can’t watch him due to his smarm. I’m gonna find the first person to tell him he’s “funny” and dickpunch the everliving shit out of him.
