Intervention, (“The best reality show of all time.” — Videogum.com), returns tonight at on A&E at 9pm with the first of thirteen new episodes. This season will feature a new reunion episode (it’s okay when they do reunion episodes) with former addicts from the first four seasons. This preview for the upcoming season is a reminder of why Intervention is the best — because the stakes don’t get any higher:

Tonight’s show is about Chad (the bearded guy in the preview), who was once a cyclist on Lance Armstrong’s team, but is now homeless and addicted to crack. Hopefully, he gets help — after last season’s tragedy, viewers are due for some more Interventions that work.
