Newsweek made a video titled “The Decade in 7 Minutes,” which could have been a fun look back except that 9/11, George W. Bush, and Afghanistan all happen in the first 30 seconds and then you start looking at your watch because, man, this has been a rough one!

  3. This overlooks the real tragedy: the decade is almost over and we still haven’t come up with a catchy name for it. We still have a month and half for “the naughty aughties” to catch on, help me out people.

  4. apparently natural disasters are a lot rougher on countries that aren’t America. I guess that’s the benefit of having a god-loving president.

    I wanna go back to the 90′s when I was a kid and still naively believed that everything was great and that people would always the “right” person for president (aka what my parents thought because I was a kid) and he would make everything good and happy.
